Where We Went

If you’re wearing a turtle-print outfit, where else would you go but here?
I’d been curious about this whale-themed café for a while, so we finally went.
Blue Whale Maharaj

Sadly, Blue Whale Maharaj has since closed, but I’m leaving this post here as a memory of our visit.
Turtle-Print Set × Whale Café

This photo was taken near the café.
The matching set with a straw hat looked so cute together.

Inside, the café had a photogenic blue interior that almost felt like being under the sea.

Whales and turtles — a perfect combination.

I wore one of my own custom-made pieces too, so we ended up with a little light-blue coordinated look.

How Was It to Wear?

I had been a little worried that the fabric might feel too stiff, but my son didn’t seem bothered by it at all.
If anything, the crisp fabric helped the outfit hold its shape nicely.
He seemed to like the cute turtle print too, and even chose to pair it with his straw hat himself.

Up until now, I had mostly been focusing on fabric when having clothes made.
But next, I started experimenting with small accessories and trims too.
