Since this outfit was a little more polished than usual, I decided to wear it to the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC).

That said, despite the whole art and culture theme, my main goals were actually food and shopping. Haha.

The silhouette turned out really nicely.

The back wasn’t visible in the reference photo I had shown them, and I hadn’t given any specific instructions for it, so this is the design they came up with. Haha.

The ribbon at the waist also lets me adjust the waist position slightly.

As you can see in the photo, the finished dress is very close to the reference image.
The depth of the neckline was something I specifically requested.

Even though I had originally wanted a two-piece set and ended up with a dress instead, I was still very happy with the overall silhouette.

But there was just one thing…

Does it look a little too “school open day” on me?

To be fair, I am actually at the age where I go to school events, so maybe that’s fine. Haha.

Still, I found myself wondering whether the same design might have looked a little more stylish and relaxed in a fabric like linen.

Choosing the design is one thing, but choosing the right fabric for the design is another challenge altogether.

Tailoring is difficult!

Remember all those fabric scraps I bought at 863?

The next question was:

Could I actually make something out of them?
