This Time’s Fabric

This is the fabric I bought from 863 Textile, which I introduced in my previous post.
75% rayon, 25% polyester
I bought 4 yards for 640 baht.
The Design I Requested

This time, I was in the mood for something a little more polished, so I decided on this design.
I showed them the reference photos and explained what I had in mind.
Back to My Tailor Hunt Find, Adul

After discovering Adul through my Bangkok Tailor Hunt, I first asked them to copy one of my tops.
It turned out beautifully — and incredibly quickly — so this time I decided to try a full tailor-made design from scratch.
While taking my measurements, they carefully checked all the little details against the reference photos, such as making the skirt a little longer and deciding exactly where the sleeves should end.
I really appreciated how carefully they went through everything with me.
And the owner’s smile is just so cute.
Finished in One Week

The copied top from my previous order was finished in just four days.
This time, the entire piece was ready in one week.
The tailoring fee was 2,500 baht.
This photo was taken when I tried it on at the shop. There was no fitting beforehand, but somehow the fit was perfect.
(I’m smiling way too much in this photo… Haha.)
There was just one small misunderstanding.
I had actually wanted the top and skirt to be made as two separate pieces, but apparently I hadn’t communicated that clearly enough, and it ended up being made as a dress.
I’m perfectly happy wearing it as a dress, but when I think about mixing and matching the pieces, I do wish I had explained that part more clearly.
Another little lesson for my Tailor-Made Journey.
