The Finished Piece

This top was made from a fabric scrap I bought for just 40 baht.
I took it to my little local tailor, and here is the finished result.
The tailoring fee was around 600 baht.
I had told them that if there wasn’t enough fabric, it was fine to make the top a little shorter.
Luckily, there was enough fabric after all.
A Day Out in My Tailor-Made Top

The mint color looked especially fresh when paired with white.

The fabric is light and smooth, which makes the top very comfortable to wear.
The design is simple too, so it’s easy to style with different outfits.

My Review

Because the fabric feels quite similar to the original top, the finished piece almost looks like the same top in a different color.
I was especially happy with how well they recreated the sleeves.
One of the things I liked about the original was how the sleeve shape helped cover my upper arms, and the copy turned out very close to that.
I’m really happy with the result.
I did briefly think that a V-neck might have looked nice too…
But if I had chosen a V-neck, I’d probably be sitting here wondering whether I should have gone with a U-neck instead. Haha.
