This Time’s Fabric

This time, I wanted to use a beige fabric, so I looked around China World and found one called “Pepe”.
It felt light and smooth, but not too sheer, which seemed perfect.
The handwritten label looked like it had been written by a child, which was kind of cute.
And yes, folding fabric on the floor even though it’s not exactly clean… somehow that feels very familiar here. Haha.
The Design I Requested

I found a beautiful back design on Pinterest and used it as the inspiration for my own sketch.
For the front, I wanted to keep things very simple, with the kind of straight, clean silhouette I usually like.
And this time, I also used the ribbon I introduced in my previous post.
Reliable as Always: RINNA

This time, I went back to RINNA in Phra Khanong, where communication in English is easy and the whole process always feels reassuring.
As soon as I showed them my design, they seemed to understand right away — very much an “Ah, yes, I see” kind of reaction.
They also quickly checked that I wanted the back opening to be elegant rather than too revealing, and everything moved along smoothly from there.
Finished!

And here is the finished dress.
- Fabric (3m): 360 baht
- Ribbon (1m): 14 baht
- Tailoring: 1,100 baht
- Total: 1,474 baht
It turned out a little more polished and elegant than I had imagined, but I really liked the result.

Next time, I wore this milk-tea-colored dress to a stylish coffee shop.
